Product Description
A reducing elbow is a type of fitting which is used to join two pieces of pipe of different sizes. The reducing diameter elbow is so called because it looks like a reducing piece and elbow combined into one. Butt weld reducing elbow have different sized openings on each end and hence they can connect two different sized pipes.
The reducing elbows are available in various types like: 90° reducing elbow, 45° reducing elbow, 135° reducing elbow, 180° reducing elbow etc.
Commonly used butt weld elbow is staineless steel elbow and carbon steel elbow. But anticorrosion elbows is necessary for chemical, food, and all kinds of corrosive liquid.
Butt weld reducing elbow is called a "reducing" elbow because it allows for a reduction in the diameter size of the pipe. Anticorrosion reducing elbow is commonly used for plumbing reducing elbow, construction reducing elbow, and industrial redcing elbow, which also diveded int 45 degree elbows, 90 degree elbows, 180 degree elbows, etc. No matter what material or angle, the main function of the reducer elbow is to regulate the flow of liquid by phasing liquid flow from a larger to a smaller pipe.
